Diner is owned and operated by Joan and Joe Seriale.
Joan came to Phoenix at the tender age of two from Buffalo New
York and grew up within a mile of the new location of Joe’s
Diner. Joan has worked for over 15 years in restaurants in Phoenix.
Joe Seriale is a third generation native of Wellton, Arizona and
started in his Grandma Dan’s Desert Café at age 11.
Joe has worked in the gamut of the industry for over 35 years.
Joe graduated from the California Culinary Academy in 1985, and
is knowledgeable in five cuisines.
Joe's professional career in the restaurant industry has led him
from serving as head waiter, cook & bar manager to a traveling
private chef. He has also served in upper level management positions
in the food supply industry ensuring Joe not only knows how to
cook but how to run the business correctly.
Joe’s passion for the restaurant industry led him to succeed
at his lifelong dream of opening his restaurant Joe’s Diner
in Phoenix Arizona.
